The ϳԹ College Department of Instrumental Music will present Our First Steps: A Concert for the Fall on Sunday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. in the Theatre In Brooks. The concert is free and open to the public. Guests are asked to arrive by 6:45 p.m.
The event marks the debut concert for the newly formed ϳԹ band program. The college’s symphonic band and its jazz ensemble will showcase the talents of ϳԹ College students and local community musicians.
“There will music for all to enjoy at our inaugural concert,” said ϳԹ Director of Bands Jeff Tylutki. “Whether you are a fan of traditional band music, classical works, swing jazz, vocal tunes, or rock/funk fusion, you will be delighted at the music presented by ϳԹ students and musicians from the local community.”
