As with any journey, it begins with the first step. President Emeritus Edward G., Jr., and Regina Boehm envisioned commemorating their time at ���ϳԹ��� College with an endowed scholarship in their name. They set a goal, expressed their intent to reach that goal through monthly payroll deductions, and ultimately took the first step toward creating a tangible symbol of their fondness for ���ϳԹ��� College. One payroll deduction at a time, the Edward G. and Regina E. Boehm Scholarship is now a reality, providing much-needed financial assistance to our students

Our support is driven by our gratitude.

Mary Lu (Fries) ’59 and Bob ’57 Kagler embarked on a journey together.  They built a marriage, raised their family and pursued careers.  Then they looked back and asked, “Who are the people and what are the institutions that made a difference for us?”

One answer was ���ϳԹ��� College, and in 1996, Mary Lu and Bob included ���ϳԹ��� in their estate plan. They were pleased with their Evergreen Society experience, and in 1999, established an endowed scholarship. In their words, “We have been grateful for the journey and the role played by ���ϳԹ���.”

Our Support to ���ϳԹ��� is Expanded by a Matching Gift

Ric and Kathy Krebs realized the value of higher education and worked together to earn their ���ϳԹ��� College degrees, just as they worked together to raise their family and build their careers. Grateful for the education they received at ���ϳԹ���, Ric and Kathy donate their time by attending and hosting various College events, serving as alumni mentors and admissions representatives, as well as Ric’s service as a College trustee and Alumni Association board member. They are also longtime donors, expanding their generosity as many of the College’s contributors do by taking advantage of their employer’s matching gift programs. In Ric’s case, Verizon matches employees’ philanthropic gifts, thereby encouraging charitable giving among its employees. With a matching gift, the impact of your gift may be doubled or tripled.
