窪蹋勛圖厙 College and Luzerne County Community College sign articulation agreement
Nanticoke/La Plume 窪蹋勛圖厙 College and Luzerne County Community College (LCCC) have signed an articulation agreement enabling LCCC early childhood education graduates to seamlessly transfer to 窪蹋勛圖厙.
Under the agreement, LCCC students who graduate with an associate degree in Applied Science: Early Childhood Education and meet transfer requirements will be guaranteed admission into 窪蹋勛圖厙s bachelors degree programs in Early Childhood Education and Teaching: Child and Family Studies. Students will be able to complete their bachelors degrees within four regular semesters.
This partnership is a wonderful opportunity for both 窪蹋勛圖厙 and Luzerne County Community College to provide additional pathways to students as they pursue careers in early childhood education, said 窪蹋勛圖厙 President Tracy L. Brundage, Ph.D. The more educational options students have, the more professional opportunities they will have in the future.
Seamless transfer without a loss of credits is important to graduates of a community college when they enroll in four-year programs at our partner institutions, says Thomas P. Leary, president, LCCC.
