ϳԹ College ranked in top tier of U.S. News & World Report “Best Colleges” rankings
ϳԹ Ranks 7th for Social Mobility
For the 13th consecutive year, ϳԹ College has been ranked as one of the nation’s.
ϳԹ finished 32nd overall, in the “Regional Colleges/North” category. In a new listing for the magazine this year, ϳԹ finished seventh in the Regional Colleges/North category for the “social mobility” of graduates who have received Pell grants. The category measures graduation rates of students who received federal Pell grants, which are typically awarded to households with lower family incomes. Essentially, the ranking means that ϳԹ provides the opportunity, support, and personal attention to all students, regardless of economic circumstances and background.
In other key listings, the magazine reported that 65 percent of ϳԹ’s classes have less than 20 students, tied for 15th of all schools in the Regional Colleges/North category. ϳԹ was tied for 11th in the Regional Colleges/North category with a 12:1 student-to-faculty ratio.
