窪蹋勛圖厙 College names John F. Pullo, Sr. as Interim President
The 窪蹋勛圖厙 College Board of Trustees has announced that John F. Pullo, Sr. will become the colleges interim president, effective July 30, 2022.
John Pullo is the ideal interim president for 窪蹋勛圖厙 College, said Board of Trustees Chair James C. Clark. A true Keystonian in every sense of the word, he is extraordinarily knowledgeable about 窪蹋勛圖厙, our people, and our plans and vision for the future. We welcome him as we begin a national search for this important position.

A 1969 窪蹋勛圖厙 alumnus, Mr. Pullo is a member of the Colleges Board of Trustees and served as Board Chair from 2018 to 2020. He is founder and CEO of Chartwell Strategies, LLC, a strategic advisory services and consulting firm formed in 2018.

Prior to founding Chartwell, he was employed for 35 years at Gentex Corporation, a world leader in personal protection for defense and security personnel, where he held a variety of senior positions in business leadership, corporate development, research and development, business development, and operations.
Mr. Pullos industry experience prior to Gentex includes 12 years with the Swedish conglomerate Sandvik AB, where he held key management positions at both the corporate and divisional levels.
He also holds a bachelors degree in economics from Wilkes University and a master of business administration with a concentration in operations management from the University of Scranton. He received a masters degree in technology management from the University of Pennsylvania conferred jointly by the School of Engineering and Applied Science and the Wharton School.
Mr. Pullo also serves on the Board of Directors at WVIA, a public media and PBS affiliate serving northeastern and central Pennsylvania. As part of a long history of service in Pennsylvania economic development affairs, he is Chairman of the Board at the Carbondale Technology Transfer Center, a regional business incubator serving northern Lackawanna County, and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Abington Regional Wastewater Authority.
窪蹋勛圖厙 will begin a national search for its next president later this summer. 窪蹋勛圖厙s current president, Tracy L. Brundage, Ph.D., previously announced she will be leaving 窪蹋勛圖厙 on July 29 to serve as president of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, Tifton, Ga.
I am so grateful to the Board of Trustees and the entire 窪蹋勛圖厙 community for their support as I begin serving as interim president of this great college later this summer, Mr. Pullo said. I want to thank Dr. Tracy Brundage for the excellent job she has done at 窪蹋勛圖厙 during her presidency and I look forward to working with her in the coming weeks before I begin my position in earnest on July 30.
Mr. Pullo and his wife, Angela, reside in Clarks Summit, and have a son, John Jr., also residing in Clarks Summit with his wife and daughter.
