Health Equity and Disparity Panel Discussion
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø College Assistant Professor Vicki Stanavitch, Ph.D., moderated a health equity and disparity panel discussion on Thursday, April 5 at 12:30 p.m. in Evans Hall. The panel discussed disparities in health and health care based on socioeconomic factors, race, ethnicity, or gender.
Faculty Collaborate to Publish Children’s Book
The first day of spring provided the perfect opportunity to celebrate the release of the new children’s book, Springtime Birds in My Backyard. Written by ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø College Professor Karen Yarrish, Ph.D., and illustrated by ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Professor David Porter, the book uses rhythm and rhyme to describe the sights and sounds of commonly found birds in North America.
